Last Transfer, Starts Now..

Hey everyone!

 Well this transfer call was very interesting! It was the last time I will here E.Popp, which was pretty weird to be completely honest. I dont think its hit me yet that Im in my last 5 weeks, maybe in a couple of weeks it will haha.. but yeah my son is finally getting to leave the nest.. He got transfered.. Which makes me sad.. After 3 transfer with someone, you pretty much are best friends haha So its going to be sad, he leaves tomorrow.. But Ill live... My new companion will be Elder Jenkins.. which is pretty sick.. we were in the MTC together. He is a transfer younger than me.. So pretty much, I get to just sprint to the end.. We both can speak german.. and have experience on what to do, so it'll be great! I was already in a district with him before, so we know each other really well! We were both shocked when we heard we were going to be serving together haha So Im happy with the person who is going to ''kill'' me haha But it was cool, cuz I prayed asking god to help me stay focused and to have the ability to run to the end.. because lets be honest, who doesnt have a problem staying focused when you know you will be back home in 5 weeks.. and I believe strongly that E.Jenkins was the  answer to that.. because we are just gonna work our butts off! Im gonna be pooped when I get home! haha

But enough of that.. This week was great.. alot of finding time, like usual.. But thanks to awesome members here, we get fed practically everyday haha and it is a riot with each and every one of them! They are so cool! even though they keep trying to convince me to stay in forst and marry somebody haha They already told me I would become their young mens leader haha I was like no way guys! Dont even think about it! haha but needless to say, we have alot of fun and we have a great relationship with the members! WHICH IS KEY!! We also went on splits again with a youth from the ward and also someone from the elders quorum.. We had a appointment lined up for it, so I thought it would have been a great experience for E.Ustach to take the older guy with him as a Joint teach, so he could get used to leading lessons.. but it fell out, which stunk, but they were able to visit some in-actives, which was great.. and I did the good stuff what we like to call ''finding'' haha I took this 15 year old kid and went dooring! haha It was great, he was shocked how bad people treat us sometimes.. but we had a sweet conversation with a guy for 30 minutes on the street.. So im pretty sure it was a good experience for him! We had fun.. Good thing I can sing disney songs in German, otherwise it wouldv been quiet! He was way nervous.. I think having some fun loosened him up, so it was good. Spaß muss sein!!! 

Well thats about it for this week.. We are really trying to get a real progressing investigator.. So if you could pray for us that would be great! I love you all and am thankfull for your support!

The Zoo!

Hey everyone!

 Iv been so bad lately for not writing you all for the last couple weeks! Sorry.. It just im using my last Pdays to the fullest haha Trying to get everything in, in my last couple weeks! But todays will also be short but with pictures because we were at the zoo all day!! haha Yep in the snow, but it was awesome! but yeah things are going great in Forst.. Pretty small place but were working and doing everything we can..we found a really cool guy doing doors.. and we are now teaching someone so were pretty happy about that! but as for everything else, its going good. The members here absolutely love us.. In fact all of them want me to marry a member here and live in forst haha Dont worry thats not in my plans but its pretty funny! But im having a blast. The mission is awesome! I love you all and I hope you all have a great week!

Im Back in the D.D.D.R!

HEy everyone!

 Well its nice to be back in the DDR haha not really.. but its cool. Just like Eberswalde.. but smaller and dirtier. Like there are literally like 4 or 5 giant factories in the middle of this city that have been totally blown to pieces and now bums just sleep in them. The town looks like its a ghost town haha Its pretty cool.. Good place for me to spend my last 2 months in Germany haha The city is pretty small.. a little bit bigger than my first city Glückstadt. So about 14 thousand people.. So everyone knows us its great haha! The members here are great they are just so willing to help us out with anything we need. I dont know If I have experienced that in any other gemeinde. I Love it! So Elder Ustach and I have been visiting alot of the areas surrounding Forst. We started working in forst and the members and random people we talk to on the street told us we have worked to much in Forst.. So we decided to work in the Dorfs surrounding Forst.. Now we have a no idea how to work with this.. Our 3 major dorfs are located on our branches boundaries.. and 2 of them we share with cottbus.. Now in order to get there we have to go through cottbus.. So this means if we find anyone they have to go to cottbus. So in short terms, it would make more sense for them to go to cottbus.. So Elder Ustach and I are a little troubled about that.. We want to start working in these dorfs but we dont know if it would be worth it to the gemeinde in forst. I mean Our purpose is to bring others unto christ, so whether they come to our gemeinde or theres, I dont think matters. BUt I guess we will figure it out haha But, we will see how things go.. We visited this crazy guy this morning, if wouldnt let us talk! haha made me so angry.. I would ask him questions and he would go off about WWII.. Im like here we go again more WWII stories.. haha but, its okay most of them are interesting.. but we want to teach dangit! Well thats all for this week I hope you all have a great week!  Hey everyone, well this week was great. It was awesome to talk with my family and be able to see them. Not too much longer that Ill see them in person! But yeah, we had a great christmas. We ate so much.. No Joke we all gained like 5 pounds haha.. Its so funny, we were dying though from how much we ate. Like its no fun when your stomach is just bulging and is crambed stuff with german potatoe salad.. I never want to eat that stuff again haha.. But yeah we enjoyed ourselves..Oh man last night was crazy.. We had a crayzy hail storm.. like these pieces of hail were the size of golf balls and we got caught in it haha I took a video, its awesome.. but we got soaked, that sucked.. So Here is the crazy thing.. We had transfer calls come in.. and Guess what E.Ustach and I are getting transfered but were staying together for a 3rd transfer and opening up a new area again lol.. We will be opening up a town called Forst.. They closed it down a little bit ago because of bad missionaries.. So we get the honor of opening it again haha but its like the size of my first city, Glückstadt.. Theres only like 8 thousand people there haha.. So it should be interesting.. So This will probably be my last city.. unless pres, decides to do something crazy but it wouldnt surprise me haha.. But its cool that Elder Ustach is staying with me.. He is a pretty cool guy and we get along great.. So were excited.. not too excited about the train ride tomorrow.. Its going to be about 10 hours long.. and were hauling all of our luggage with us.. So it should be interesting.. haha Na ja, thats life! Well I'll keep it short this week.. Ill I can say is Im loving life and Im doing great. I hope your all doing well! Love you guys!

Busy Busy Busy!

Hey everyone!

 This week was pretty good.. We were way busy though at the beginning of the week. Since transfer calls were last week we had to help everyone transfer on Tuesday. It was sad though, Elder James is no longer with us. He died and went home! We had a blast together. He is a way cool kid, Ill hang with him when I get home.. But we got Elder Clayton.. and he is way cool. We were in the MTC together and we have always had a blast together. So its kinda a bitter sweet thing, with E. James leaving, Its all good though. We will continue working hard and partying as normal lol. But all Monday we were down in Bad Bentheim because the mission couple made us a huge thanksgiving dinner! I havent had pumpkin pie in forever! Mom you should start preparing to make some pumpkin pie because im gonna eat alot of it in about 4 months! haha BUt it was great, we played alot of pingpong and ultimate frisbee.. It was awesome, and Simon came with us! I swear this guy is a baller.. He is awesome! This ward here really scored with getting him as a member. He is such a great guy.

For the most part this week it was alot of finding. We had 6 appointments fall out.. I'v had worse but for the small pool of people that we have it stunk but its all good because sifting for the elect, and sometimes its gonna be hard, but you keep chuggin along. Elder Ustach is such a good guy, we get along great. Too bad ill have to wait like 20 months before he gets home to hang out with him haha but when he is home, we are gonna hang out! I feel bad sometimes that we dont have alot of people to work with but, I think this is a great learning experience for both of us. Thats what life is about.. Learn, Learn, and more Learning.. Love it.. Bring it on! But it was cool Elder Ustach made out a sweet appointment when we were doing doors. I was proud of him. It was funny this lady that answered the door looked exactly like the singer pink and her attitude was just like her haha but she was interested to learn, so were excited to go back. 

You wouldnt believe how much fog there is here.. Its insane, like the whole day is just crazy foggy, which makes it really cold.. Like I can feel it in my bones. My wrist and foot hurt from when I broke them..but I a man and I'll live.. sniff sniff.. haha But last night was totally awesome.. We had to walk to an appointment that was a hour and half away and we finally got there and she wasnt there.. I was not the happiest Elder at this point in time but we decided to head back and talk to people on the way because we were so far away and it was like 7 oclock.. but we took like a really funky route home haha I had no idea where we were going but we called it.. Exploring to find haha and as were walking along this dude stops us on his bike and its Sophiano.. One of our first investigators, who dropped us.. and said hey guys I was thinking about you guys all day and I saw you on the street.. I think we should meet again haha We were blown away because this guy wanted nothing to do with us.. It was so cool.. So he is gonna come play some soccer with us tonight! Im excited..

Well Im getting excited for December. Hopefully we can get some snow here soon.. Or this guy is going to turn into the grinch! You wouldnt want to see me green! haha But thanks for all your prayers. I love you all!

Hey everybody,

 So were doing our emails today because we will be gone all day on Monday in a city called Bad Bentheim to do a thanksgiving get together. So we wouldnt have been able to get to do emails if we did them down there so, hence today. But Transfer calls were this morning! E.Ustach and I will be staying together! Sweet, that means we will be staying together for Christmas. Its going to be great! I way excited to start the new Transfer.. We also have E.Clayton moving in with us because E.James is going home, im sad to see him go but im excited to have E.Clayton. He is awesome! We were in the MTC together. So were gonna have a blast..  Its getting way cold out.. On Tuesday we were out doing finding and the crazy cold weather blew in and a thick fog. Oh man! I was freezing my butt off! But it was cool we made some hot chocolate! So I actually dont have much time but, this whole week we have been visiting with a ton of In-Active members and bringing joint teaches for them and we have been seeing alot of sucess! Its awesome when we get Joint Teaches. We actually had one today with an investigator and Sister Münzer who is the branch presidents wife, also from Arizona, came with us and I have to say she is just flat out awesome! She helped us out so much! I love Joint teaches! Well since I dont have much time I send some pictures, But I love you all and have a happy thanksgiving!

Moin Moin!

 Hey everyone! Sorry for no email last week. I was way busy! but im back. This week was way good. I woke up this morning and was like man were starting to get somewhere. Like when you open an area and training, your constantly worried on how you are going to find new people and how your going to help the new Elder learn everything. But, you know what I decided this morning were doing what were supposed to and were being blessed for it! Which made me happy! So you I did some Popp90x this morning! I made a workout yep.. I blast some space Jam music and make dance moves while holding weights.. Its actually quite effective and its alot of fun! Maybe I just have to much energy! haha

 Alright people, I went to the beautiful city of Bremen last Monday.. maybe you heard of it.. Its a very well-Known city in Germany because of its old buildings. Im telling you its beautiful. We had a blast and took some way cool pictures. But I think one of the coolest things that happened this week was I gave my first baptismal interview. It went really well.. It was funny though, I was talking to this guy and next thing I knew it had already been an hour haha and the Elders outside were freaking out.. But hey I wanted to make sure that he was ready. Which he was and was baptized on Sonntag.

We also visited one of my favorite members this week. and let me tell you, he is crazy! haha Like he has a crazy life story, which would take forever to explain but he is from africa, and while he was in africa, he had some bad things happen to him and it caused him to become a little handicapped. but this guy is a genius! But it was hilarious, he was talking about how obama won and how he supported him but he said you know what makes him so good. He has the intelligence of an 80 year old, a body of a 20 year old and an imagination of a 12 year old girl! hahahah I was on floor laughing. Man it was great!

So this is the coolest thing that happened this week... We found a new investigator and she is golden. She has read the whole book of mormon but never wanted to come to church. She hasnt been to any church for 2 and half years and said she would never go to any again because of her bad experiences.. So we worked a little magic and guess what? She came on Sunday! I was so happy, that she came because I know it is exactly what is missing in her life. She talks about how she just feels like there is an emptyness and I know this is the thing that would fill that emptyness, and she would be such a strong member! and now we got a sweet joint teach set up for saturday. Its going to be great!

 Well the weather is getting pretty cold. No snow yet, its killing me.. I want my white christmas! haha But transfer calls are this saturday! That came way to fast.. Like the time is going so fast its unbelievable. So gotta make the best with the few months I have left! Well I love all of you and hope your all doing great!
